by becoming part of the SquashForward team! Whether you're coaching on the court as a Volunteer Squash Assistant, helping students succeed in class as a Volunteer Tutor, or spreading the word at your school as a SquashForward Ambassador, there's a role for everyone who wants to make a difference. Explore our options.
What you'll do: Represent SquashForward at your school by spreading the word about StreetSquash and recruiting classmates to volunteer. Ambassadors share volunteer opportunities through clubs, teams, and school announcements, help classmates through the sign-up process, and serve as the go-to contact for students interested in getting involved. You'll also help organize group visits to StreetSquash and share updates on what your school's volunteers are accomplishing.
What you'll do: Plan and run fundraisers at your school, like squash-a-thons, bake sales, or donation drives, with proceeds going to StreetSquash. Fundraising Coordinators set goals for each event, recruit classmates to help, and promote fundraisers through social media, flyers, and school announcements. You'll also track donations, thank supporters, and share the results so everyone can see the impact of their contributions.
The role of Site Maintenance is to keep the SquashForward website up to date with current pictures, upcoming events, new volunteer opportunities, and any changes within SquashForward. Given the responsibilities of the role, Site Maintenance must be technologically savvy and comfortable with website editing tools.
