My name is Alton Friedman. I'm a student at York Prep, where I am captain of the squash team. I volunteer at StreetSquash, which I first heard about from one of my coaches. What started as a way to give back quickly became something more: StreetSquash feels like family to me. Seeing everything it offers, from academic tutoring to squash lessons, I realized this organization deserves a larger audience, and SquashForward was born. As its founder, my goal is to raise awareness of StreetSquash and encourage more students to get involved as volunteers and coaches. I believe that by connecting students with opportunities to give back, we can make a lasting impact on kids in our community.
